FOUR MILES!
For the first time in years, I was able to jog four miles! FOUR MILES! That’s 6.4 kilometers! No stopping! And I did it after not having jogged for almost a week because of sickness, injury, etc. Four miles is also a big jump from the 2 mile route (3.2km) I was using the week before!
JM says our pace was a bit slow. I guess that’s it. But hell, ever since I left high school, I couldn’t run 2 miles without stopping, fast pace or slow! It’s either I get tired and/or bored (especially on a treadmill)! Haha! I always look for nice places to jog in (ex. La Mesa Dam EcoPark) so I can enjoy the scenery and not get bored.
I like La Mesa Dam because it has forests. Forests? Yup! When I’m huffing and puffing, feeling that I’m about to die of exhaustion and thirst, I just think that I’m in hot pursuit of enemy soldiers in difficult terrain. That keeps me going. Failure is not an option, soldier!
